Our Story
The Early Years
Growing up in Santa Barbara, Sam and Karen spent their childhoods exploring the beaches and mountains of this beautiful coastal town. Though they attended local schools and made memories in the same places, their paths had yet to cross.
How We Met
It all started one fateful night at a bar in San Francisco's Marina District. While Stock In Trade doesn't exist anymore, it was a staple watering hole in our 20's.
First Date
Our first date was at Souvla on Divisadero Street in San Francisco. We still regularly visit for their delicious Greek food and frozen yogurt, cherishing the memories of where it all began.
The Proposal
We have trouble sitting still. On an adventure to Japan, Sam popped the question on an iconic footbridge in the city of Kanazawa.
